YouthBuild grantees have been incorporating Construction Plus programming since 2013, allowing training in additional in-demand industries beyond construction.
Whether Construction Plus is a new program component or has been a part of your YouthBuild program for several grant cycles, it is imperative that YouthBuild grantees develop quality training pathways that align with effective practices such as hands-on work experience, in-demand employer pipelines, industry-recognized credentialing, and quality career pathways for youth participants through quality placements in advanced training, employment, and apprenticeships.
In this webcast, participants will:
- Learn what Construction Plus is and is not;
- Understand the Construction Plus Framework for pre-apprenticeship;
- Review key considerations for program alignment to the Construction Plus Framework; and
