YouthBuild Blueprint: Types of Performance Reports

About

Like all programs that receive government funding, DOL YouthBuild programs are required to submit quarterly reports. DOL YouthBuild programs must submit three reports, each one every quarter:

Quarterly performance report (QPR) – The information in the QPR comes directly from the data you enter in the DOL GPMS
Quarterly narrative report (QNR)
Financial report (ETA-9130)

Quarterly Reporting

Grantees must submit and certify QPRs, QNRs, and ETA-9130 Financial Status Reports (FSRs) within 45 days after the end of each quarter, including the planning phase. Accuracy and timeliness in submitting these reports are essential. The chart below shows the quarter breakdowns and reporting deadlines:

Annual Housing Census Reporting

All YouthBuild grantees must complete the Annual Housing Census form in August of each year of their program cycle to track the total number of completed unit(s) of housing by their YouthBuild program. The Annual Housing Census can be found under "Forms" on the DOL YouthBuild website: YouthBuild | U.S. Department of Labor. Grantees will receive a notification from DOL as a reminder to submit the annual housing census. Grantees should be tracking the housing units completed between August 1 and July 31 each year to facilitate this required data collection. This information is requested to report (to Congress and other stakeholders) the valuable contributions made by the young people in your programs for your community.
